California Biodiesel Mandate

Thanks to CA state senator Christine Kehoe (a speaker at this year's Sustainable Biodiesel Summit), Senate Bill 1675 passed an initial screening by the Senate Environmental Quality Committee.

This will establish a 2% BD minimum blend in all diesel fuel by 2008, and 5% by 2010. This is great news for the BD industry as well as for the air and climate. Details here.
